Doodle Jump: DC Super Heroes

Doodle Jump is one of the most popular IPs in mobile game history. I was brought on to a special sequel of Doodle Jump that was a licensed Batman-inspired version of the game. While the original game was super simple and extremely fun, they had not explored deeper UX and UI evolutions that could encompass all of the new features needed (achievement systems, character upgrades, social features, etc). I was hired to lead the team in that area, while additionally helping design level art, Batsuits, and characters. Of course, the look-and-feel of Doodle Jump is iconic and we wanted to make sure that shined through for every design--and in the end we created a much richer version of the game that still had the simplicity of the original, but with a deeper and more engaging experience celebrated by players and critics.
