Atari Mobile Concepts

Role: Art Director
What is more iconic in video games than Atari? Early in the jump into the mobile game space, I helped our team create concepts for a digital Atari arcade. The game would be built around the idea that the player was constructing and upgrading their very own basement arcade, with all sorts of retro throwback imagery and 8-bit treatment. Then players could "visit" their friends' arcades, and tap the game cabinets to play actual games. It was an ambitious design that needed to blend a clean design system for the "arcade" part of gameplay, as well as accommodate cabinet gameplay itself. For that part, we also integrated concepts for IP such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where there was discussion of a partnership with Atari and Nickelodeon.
